"2012" Here we are just beginning the new year and wondering what is ahead for us. The MCM Real Estate Group is anticipating good things to happen this year! It is our feeling that the market is on the rise and things are looking brighter already. That may have something to do with the fact that our weather has been beautiful this winter with enough snow to give our mountains that "snowy glow" for Christmas and the ski slopes are seeing some of the best skiing in years. The hunters have been prosperous as have the fishermen. This year is getting off to a great start and we are sure there is much more to come.
Marti, Cheryl, and Mindy had a good year last year and are expecting this year to be even better. Aside from working we have been busy increasing our families with new members. Marti and Mindy both added new grandchildren and Mindy and Cheryl added new puppies and Marti a new kitty. Our lives are plenty full with all those new babies. But never too full for our clients!!

2011~THE MCM REAL ESTATE GROUP is proud to announce that we have survived the year 2010!! As we all know the market has taken quite a beating this past year so we are very proud of the fact that we have been able to ride the year out. We are very optimistic about this upcoming year, 2011. We have been busy fine-tuning our business so we can better fulfill our clients needs.
We have found a great tool to assist us in the marketing of our listings. We are able to expose them to many more websites than ever before and we are finding that we have some of the highest advertised listings in the area. We are proud of the fact that the 3 of us can offer our full-time status to our clients and at least one of us is always available. We are proud of our office and strive to always have one of us available in the office for you.
We are very aware of how much we owe to our clients, our friends, our families. And we will always put your needs and requests as top priorities of the business and we are only here because of you. So, please, be sure to tell your friends and families to tell their friends and families to contact us for all their real estate ventures. 2010~This year our partnership has undergone some fine tuning. We expanded the partnership to include Cheryl Lindquist who had been our assistant for the past two years and decided to "take the plunge" and officially became a broker associate. We are transitioning from M&M to THE MCM GROUP. We feel with the three of us available to our clients we are assuring them the BEST full time service. If one of us doesn't know the answer, the other two will know the answer or know where to find it.
Marti lives in Dove Creek and has commuted to Cortez every day for many years. Marti's family owned a business on Main Street with Marti running the business herself for several of those years. Marti and her husband Billy have four children and five grandchildren.
Cheryl and her husband Jim left Cortez in 1974 only to return 30 years later. Cheryl has worked as our assistant for the past 2 years and has recently become a broker associate. Cheryl and Jim have two children and 1 grandchild.
Mindy has worked in accounting and financing and also was a business owner. She and her husband Jim both are Cortez natives and have raised their families here. Mindy has been in the real estate business for several years and has the knowledge and experience required to make your home transitions as smooth as possible. Mindy is the past president and currently the president of The Four Corners Board of Realtors. She also has just received the "Realtor of the Year" award from The Four Corners Board of Realtors.
The best part of this partnership is that all 3 of us were born in Cortez around the same time, in the same hospital, grew up in the same neighborhoods, attended the same schools, and finished high school in Cortez together.
So, as you can see, the friendship runs very deep with us!
